Christmas Eve my mom, dad, Brooklyn, and I went around their neighboorhood to see Christmas lights. They did not disappoint. There were two houses that had their lights put to Christmas music that were our faves.
The kids left cookies and carrots out for Santa and his reindeer. The dogs had eaten all of the sugar cookies we made and frosted the day before so we ended up using store bought cookies. Alex wrote the cutest note explaining the mishap. "Dear Santa the dogs ate the cooki's we made for you so we got you thes ones I hope you like them Pleeas writ back. Water and carots for reindeer Cookis and milk for you love Alex and meary Christmas."
It was fun to stay up after the kids were in bed finishing up wrapping presents and making Christmas magic with Bea and Ivan, Mom, and Thomas.
Family Christmas is so fun! What a great age for everyone!
