Day 3 and 4 Thanksgiving in Boise

Friday and Saturday in Boise we did some more Christmas activities.  Including the festival of trees and a horse drawn carriage ride around downtown. We did this last year with my parents.  This year not only did they have complimentary hot chocolate but also added a free photo booth!

We hit up some of our favorite restaurants, La Tapatia and Bombay house.
We were able to meet up with more friends too! Brooklyn and I met up with Molly and Sara at Danik gymnastics and the girls just had the best time playing together while Sara and I caught up on life. We really miss being close to these friends who were always up for getting together.

For dinner one night we went to Tess and Ryan's some of our fave couple friends.  Brooklyn and Penny were two peas in a pod.  Tess had a cute little dessert craft for the kids making Christmas trees out of sugar cones and frosting and decorating them with candy.  Afterwards we stopped to watch the Cadger Christmas light show, some people's house that has lights synced to music.

We hit up the Festival of Trees again this year. I would love to decorate my tree like this some day. The stage with all of the dancers was Brooklyn's favorite as it has been in years past.  She also liked the craft station where you could write letters to Santa and send them, the people making balloons for kids, and driving one of the mechanical trains. As we were leaving we saw a man walking a reindeer and stopped to pet it.

Before we left for home we had a little gift exchange with Thomas' mom.
