High Uinta's and Park City Hiking

Fourth of July weekend we headed up towards Park City and in the high Uintas for some beautiful hiking!

Our first hike was around Mirror Lake.  They call it Mirror Lake because you can see the nearby mountain in the reflection of the lake.  It was a flat mile or so around the lake that was perfect for our girly. We could see so many fish jumping and splashing in the lake. Once we made it around we stopped at one of the picnic tables for a picnic lunch.

After lunch we started on Fehr Lake trail that was a little more steep and so had Brooklyn in the Ergo for part of the time.  During this hike we passed three different alpine lakes. Thomas carried Brooklyn on the out and I carried her on the back. On the way back she actually fell asleep and it was so sweet and relaxing (not to mention quiet).

While headed to our rental to sleep we pulled off the side of the road to see Provo Falls.

We headed into Park City for dinner at a little Mexican Restaurant and then went to our AirBnb rental for the night. The next morning we ventured out to climb a tall mountain! It's up Guardsman Pass and called Peak 10,420.

The morning we left Park City we stopped at the visitor's center where they had a little cafe and this old fashioned ski lift.
