More 5th birthday celebrations

The day of Brooklyn's friends birthday party my mom flew in. We wanted to celebrate her being done with her last round of chemo so we went out to a Mexican restaurant. While we were there we had them sing to Brooklyn for her 5th birthday.

On the morning of her 5th birthday my mom and I took her out to Ihop for breakfast as is our tradition since we went there the morning I went into labor with her. Brooklyn got the cupcake sprinkle pancakes and they brought her our an ice cream sundae since it was her birthday.

After Ihop we headed to the mall where Brooklyn and my mom rode the ride on animals.

Then we met Thomas at Build-a-bear where Brooklyn designed Gina the cheerleader bunny who smells like cotton candy and sings the song "Cheerleader".

The night of her birthday Thomas' parents and Brooklyn's cousins got into town for her dance recital.  Before the recital she opened presents from them and then that night got to have a cousin sleepover at our house.

The day after her birthday, since her cousins were in town, we took everyone to the nearby nickel arcade.  Everyone got a bag full of nickels and we spent over an hour there playing games.  This was a great idea for a variety of ages and everyone had a blast.

Everyone saved their tickets and gave them to Brooklyn and Kylee at the end and they got these matching expandable sphere balls and zipper bracelets.
