Summer Dance

We signed Brooklyn up for a summer dance class that was just once a week for an hour through her normal dance studio.  Each week they focused on a different style: acro, ballet, hip hop, and jazz.
I really looked forward to sitting each week and watching her for an hour.  They joy she has when dancing is just contagious.

 I love her teacher SO much!

4th of July 2017

The two nights before the 4th we would go outside with our neighbors the Wilcox's and play with sparklers, snakes, snaps, and other little fireworks.

Brooklyn and our little neighbor Collin have become the best of friends.  They play together every day for hours and get along so well.  Collin is obsessed with anything army and has taught Brooklyn all about army.  They love to play nerf guns together and are just the cutest.

The Wilcox invited to a BBQ on the fourth at their friends house.

Later that night we did more fireworks and then were able to sit on our porch and see a 180 degree view of all the fireworks going on in the area.

Upstart Graduation

Brooklyn participated in an online preschool, called Upstart, that was free through the state of Utah.  It was amazing to see how much she learned throughout the year.  In the beginning she was just recognizing letters and by the end she was starting to sound out words and read!

They had a fun little graduation at a nearby hotel to celebrate the graduates hard work.

La Pine

A few weeks after Wells was born Thomas had an interview in La Pine, Oregon.  They offered to have the whole family come with him so we took advantage of it.

While Thomas was shadowing one of the days I took Brooklyn to the nearby High Desert Museum.

We stayed in a hotel in La Pine.

 We were able to visit nearby Bend where we rented a surrey bike to ride along the Deschutes river and then ate outside and enjoyed the sunset in the Old Mill District.

Thomas ended up getting the job offer and we are so excited to move to this beautiful area!

A week after our first visit I flew back with Wells to go house hunting! We found an awesome home that we will be closing on the end of August.

Thomas finished his last out of town rotation beginning of June.  Brooklyn loved using filters while we talked to him.

At the end of the dance year Brooklyn was so excited to get her name drawn to take home one of the team trophies.

The library now has a little dress up area that Brooklyn loves to play in.
