Quick trip to Utah/ Home hunting

A few weeks before moving from Boise to Springville we traveled to Spanish Fork, UT to stay with our friends Lauren and Travis Moss for a couple days to search for a place to live.
It was so nice of the Moss' to watch Brooklyn while we went out house hunting.  It made a stressful situation a lot less stressful.
We were pretty discouraged the first couple days because it seemed like all the places we liked online were already taken and the places were were able to get in and see were costly and dumps.
Finally on our last evening there we were looking in the area and decided that we would stop by without an appointment to a twin home that had been listed a few hours before but that we hadn't been able to get in contact with.  Luckily I knocked on the door right as the current tenant was leaving and she offered to show us the place after she got back from picking up her daughter in about ten minutes.  We walked around the neighborhood and by the time the tenant got there the landlady arrived as well.
We had been the first people to leave a message (of more than 20!) and the first she had shown it to.  After the showing we immediately filled out and application and the next morning before heading back to Boise turned in our deposit and first and last months rent.
It was really down to the wire time wise and we are so glad it worked out! We love our new place and are so happy to be close to some good friends!
