Provo Farmer's Market and Utah Lake Festival

I LOVE farmer's market. It feels so satisfying to buy local and fresh. This was our fist time at the Provo Farmer's Market and we really liked it. It's a lot smaller than the one in Boise but still has the things we like. We ended up with some fresh salsa and a soy candle. Next time on our list is some local raw honey. There is a park and splash pad right next to the market which makes the trip enjoyable for a certain toddler as well. This particular Saturday they were handing out balloons and free cookie samples and had a bubble machine going. Toddlers dream fulfilled.

After the market we headed to the Utah Lake Festival. They had booths set up with games, informational booths on water safety, wagon rides, boat rides, fishing, sand castle building, etc. Britt and her gang including her boyfriend and his daughter and her sister and her girls met us there which was an extra dose of fun. I love finding fun free community activities to do. photo IMG_8608_zpsxqzzd7rm.jpg photo IMG_8594_zpsj5gqeoep.jpg photo IMG_8595_zpsoitvrnhu.jpg photo IMG_8601_zpscc5d3o6t.jpg photo IMG_8602_zpsucapzcmb.jpg photo IMG_8603_zpsn0o1lnar.jpg photo IMG_8609_zpsxvanl4na.jpg photo IMG_8613_zpsp8p0jbgh.jpg photo IMG_8615_zpsnl5ni4ge.jpg photo IMG_8616_zpsx9njpq8l.jpg
