Cruising down the street on her new wheels.
Hanging outside with her BFF next door neighbor.
I've been trying to make a habit of walking after dinner and one night stepped right over this snake!
This was a Pinterest win. It's just cornstarch, food coloring, and water that you can use for sidewalk chalk paint.
We went to our first Orem Owlz baseball game. Love that we can just sit out in the grass field and they have a playground for the kids to play on.
The summer reading program at the library has the theme of "Superheroes". This activity talked about community helpers who are heroes. The firemen came and sprayed their hose for the kids.
One of Brooklyn's favorite toys is her doctor kit. Now that Thomas has real doctor instruments Brooklyn gets to enjoy the real deal. Almost every day after Thomas gets home from school she asks him to get out his stethoscope, otoscope, and blood pressure cuff. She is a good doctor as well as a good patient.
The Springville Library is pretty new and has cool things like this big screen with a camera where the kids can pretend to be characters on a page of a book.
There was a Teddy Bear picnic event at the library and Brooklyn brought her trusty pal Violet.
Puppet show at the library.
Another favorite play time activity is playing in the sand with sand toys at the park behind our house.
Playing in her little inflatable pool is another summertime essential. The hose was about to explode.
Brooklyn is starting to develop her sense of humor and in a way it makes me sad because it seems like such a grown up attribute! She loves to make funny faces, make up silly words, and if she gets in trouble to diffuse the situation she'll say something silly and say "is that funny Mom?"
