Disney on Ice 2015

This is Brooklyn and I's second year going to Disney on Ice.  This year was even better than last because it was all princess stories! Thomas dropped us off and while he went to go look at cars which was nice because then we didn't have to worry about parking in downtown SLC.
The Rapunzel story was both Brooklyn and I's favorite because they hung from silky curtain things and spun around and did stunts. It makes my heart SO happy seeing the joy in my little girls eyes when we do things like this.

We lucked out again with great cheap seats. We were in the wheelchair section so there was nobody to block our view and room for Brooklyn to dance around.
Afterwards we got to meet up at Blue Lemon for lunch with Britt and Christ and Drew and did a little browsing and shopping at City Creek.  Loved seeing them and catching up.

Museum of Natural Curiosity

My parents are the ones who bought us passes to Thanksgiving Point which includes the Museum of Natural Curiousity so it was nice to be able to take them while they were visiting.  In the summer it was always packed and so going in the fall during school was nice cause it wasn't so crowded.

After lunch we took some pictures outside on the hay bales and Brooklyn was showing us her new posing skills.

Rowley's Red Barn Preschool Field Trip

I organized our first preschool field trip this school year in October. We went to Rowley's Red Barn where they took us on a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and fall play area. The girls had a blast picking pumpkins, sliding, climbing the hay bails, and going through the apple crate maze.
Afterwards we were treated to hot apple cider donuts. We also enjoyed some of their homemade ice cream and I took home some apple cider from the apples on their farm.

October Photo Dump

This was the inspiration for Thomas' costume this year.

It was so nice training for a half this time of year. I had lots of beautiful long runs and a wonderful training buddy.

At one point during the month we took the childproof knobs off of Brooklyn's doors.  Big mistake.  She was in our room almost every morning around 5am.  Needless to say those went back on.  This is a pic she took with my phone at one of those 5am mornings.
Brooklyn really wanted to get a chapter book from the library and she was obsessed with pretending to read it.
Dress up is an everyday occurrence at our house and a lot of times you will see a little princess tagging along with me for errands.
One weekend we went over to Lauren's grandparents house to have a little tailgating party and watch the BYU game. Brooklyn was our photographer that night.

There is a park about a mile from our house that I will sometimes jog to with Brooklyn in the stroller and then do a little track workout while Brooklyn plays, runs around, or rides her trike. It's so cute when she wants to run with me. When she gets tired she will stop and then cheer for me saying "Go Mama!". This particular day she wanted to wear a dress over her pajama pants and her fairy wings.

She loves these little toys even when we don't have quarters to make it go.
Thomas' school had lots of fun activities for Halloween.
Brooklyn is becoming Miss Independent. She get's dressed by herself now and is even taking her dishes to the sink to rinse them off. Totally self motivated too.

Thomas did most of the pumpkin carving this year with a little help from Brooky bear.

You know when your candle wick burns out but you still have a half an inch of wax left? I saved a few candles that the wicks were burnt out and then melted and combined them to make this fun candle in a mason jar.
Every time we go past Build-a-bear she asks to go in and walk the cat on wheels around.
And this is so me...
