Nursery (Part way there)

We are only part way through with the baby's room but so far we are loving how it is turning out.  I finished the mobile that hangs above the crib.

We have the main pieces of furniture except we need to add the dresser.  This Saturday we will be painting it and putting it in the room.
We were super excited to find a newer mattress on craigslist.  It's kind of scary buying a mattress off of craigslist but the people we got it from lived in a really nice clean house so that made us feel comfortable (plus we got a mattress pad to put over it).  We bought the frame at D.I. and a headboard from D.I. too for a total of $20.  The headboard will be painted hopefully this weekend too.

Thomas and I love to just peek in the room and look at it whenever we pass.

I am slowly collecting books to start baby's collection.
Thomas' mom is making pillows and a valance and bed skirt for the room which will add some more color.
I think they only other piece of furniture we need to buy is a mirror to go above the crib :)
Little Brooklyn already has a nice stock of tutu's and shoes thanks to her Aunt Angie and Grandma Sandee :)
