Thomas' 27th B-day

I think I look forward to Thomas' b-day than my own.  It's so fun knowing what I got him and waiting for the look of happiness on his face when he opens my present to him.

This year I got Thomas a new backpack from REI so that he would have to keep using mine which is a little girly and not as wide as he needs for his school book.  It also has room for a hydration resevoir so when he goes mountain biking he'll have one. He also got some new shades since his have been broken for awhile now. And some new shoes that he has been wanting that are easy to slip on before and after snowboarding.

To celebrate the big day we went out for dinner at Cheesecake Factory.  Thomas ordered the salsbury steak and loved it and I got a burrito that was sersiouly like a foot and a half long.  It provided dinner that night and lunch for both of us the next day.  And of course we couldn't leave without some cheesecake.  We ordered a piece of the chocolate raspberry truffle and took it home to share later that night since we were both so full. Even later we couldn't finish a whole piece it was so rich and delicious.

When bringing out our cheesecake to go the waiter also brought out a plate with "Happy Birthday Thomas" written on it with chocolate and a little ice cream sundae.  Thomas was happy he didn't sing to him :) But I did.
I love that big hunk.
