Happy Halloween 2011

We celebrated Halloween this year at a little get together at our friends the Howell's.  They invited us and another couple over Saturday to celebrate.
We carved pumpkins.

Made caramel apples.

The boys watched football while the girls chatted.

Tonight for Halloween Mr. Thomas is working to (as he likes to say) "bring home the big cheese" :) And I am here at home with our pumkins all lit, our porch light on, and the Halloween station on Pandora station playing to beckon trick or treaters.  We made sure and choose the kind of candy we like in case we don't get many trick or treaters we can enjoy it ourselves :)

I went for an easy disco ball kind of look for my pumpkin.  Our first little trick or treaters were pretty enthralled by it.  In fact the little two year old was crouching down and staring at it for at least two minutes and his parents had to pick him up to get him to leave for the next house.
