Wells' First Birthday

Wells had a puppy themed first birthday party. We had friends, neighbors, and family there to celebrate our little guy.  Both my mom and dad were in town along with my niece Vona. 

My mom made his puppy cake and these cute little puppy cupcakes.  She also made Brooklyn's first birthday cake so that was special to have her make both my kids' cakes.

Everybody was so thoughtful with their gifts and these were some of his faves:

Tunnel/tent

Dump truck (This was from my dad who had one growing up that he loved and that he has gotten for some of the other grandsons as well.)

Peek-a-boo bear

We used the same "Happy Birthday" balloons that we had for Brooklyn's party (perks of having kids who birthday's are just eight days apart).

We also made little puppy dog balloons.
The tablecloths were the same ones from Brooklyn's first birthday.
We drew paw prints with chalk leading up the driveway.

Wells and his little friend Anna were entertained by playing in the ice chest.

For food we went with Wells' favorite, spaghetti.  We served spaghetti, french bread, and salad.
