Stroller Strides Kids Fun Run

Although I haven't attended Stroller Strides since last summer, I still go to some of the play dates they host. One such play date was a kids fun run that was free! I always hate to pay for some activity for Brooklyn just to have her hate it so this was a no pressure run.  The starting whistle scared her at first so I held her and walked to the turn around point (about 50 meters) and then she was motivated by the juice boxes at the finish line and ran the remaining half.
They had race bibs, cute little certificates, and finisher medals for all of the participants.  Brooklyn still talks about her run and likes to get her medal out and wear it.
