Trip to Yakima to See Alex

My nephew Alex is in Washington visiting my parents for a few weeks and I haven't seen him since January so I was super excited to be able to see him. Thomas got Monday off work so that we could have a couple days to spend with him.
I can't believe how big that little boy has gotten! He talks SO much it is so stinking cute.  When we first got there him and my mom pulled up in the car just as we did and he was asleep in his carseat.  I picked him up and when he opened his eyes he just immediately started talking a mile a minute.  Once we got inside he was showing my all his toys and their names and literally pacing in a figure eight he was so excited.
We arrived Saturday afternoon and that evening went with my mom and Alex to Thomas' brothers house for dinner.  Our niece Lexi loved being a little mommy to Alex.  He kind of liked the attention too.  He was pretty cute playing with the Mr. Potato Head.

After dinner we went outside for awhile to play some baseball. I think Alex liked it most when he would miss the ball, he thought it was HILARIOUS.  What a good little sport.

Thomas and I got the Giles niece and nephews Boise state shirts for their summer birthdays. Starting them young as Bronco fans :)

Sunday we didn't make it til the last hour of church because Brooklyn was sleeping and she hadn't slept well at all the day before because of the traveling.  Silly girl will not sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time in her carseat.  That evening my grandpa and some friends the Middleton's came over for dinner.
Monday we played a game called Dominion with my parents before heading on the road again.  My mom loaded us down with stuff she is getting rid of in order to dejunk before they move to Texas.  So we walked away with new silverware dishes.
When I was going through some of my mom's things I found this old outfit that was my little sister's (Alex's mom).  Thomas and I thought it would be fun to put Alex in it.

Haha he loved it and didn't want to take it off even though the pants were so tight his little butt crack was showing and they kept falling down.
He also wouldn't put the helmet my dad bought for him to go four-wheeling in on until my dad said that he could drive his "monster truck" if he wore it.  Then again he didn't want to take it off once he put it on.  He called it his "grave digger" helmet.
